In 1965, Antonio Barba decided to open a small shirt workshop run by craftsmen on the outskirts of Naples.
Shirts tailored by Neapolitan craftsmen were made exclusively for a limited clientele among Naples’ elite, known for their comfortable feel akin to a second skin.
The shirts and jackets, crafted through meticulous handmade processes, were praised for their exquisite cutting, precise details, and above all, the elegance of the fabric. The name “BARBA Napoli” became well-known throughout Italy.
